It is mandatory to show a copy of your Physical Damage, Cargo & Liability and registration for both tractor and trailer. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PHYSICAL DAMAGE YOU’RE ARE SIGNING OFF YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR AND ANY OTHER VEHICLE DAMAGED BY YOU.
It is the truck owner’s obligation to register your driver as well as any other personnel who is going to enter the yard. Please, registration is only open Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
All tractors and trailers must have numeric markings, yard entry will NOT be authorized if numeric markings do not match our records. Company signs must be placed on the trucks before entering the yard.
Yard entry is through the first gate and the exit is through the second gate. Once you enter please STOP WITH SECURITY.
Speed limit is 5 miles per hour.
If any exit or entry gate is damaged by the driver the driver will be responsible for the repair cost. DO NOT STOP AT GATE!
When entering the yard please bring your drivers license to the security so that we may check if you are registered to enter the yard. Every person entering the yard must leave their drivers license with security and pick it up when leaving.
When throwing out the trash it is mandatory to dispose of it in the designated tanks for that purpose. If you are caught breaking the rules you will be responsible for the cleaning cost.
Parking outside your designated area will result in removal of your vehicle from the premises. Any damage and cost from this will be your responsibility.
All rented parking spaces is to be used for the tractor and trailer only.
Your stay inside the yard should NOT exceed more than 30 minutes and it will be supervised by security.
No repair or fixtures is permitted inside the yard. All repairs should be done outside the premises of the yard.
It is prohibited to sleep inside your tractor while the tractor is parked inside the yard.
If there’s any leakage coming from your tractor you must immediately notify the truck owner and you will have one (1) hour. The tractor owner will be responsible for any damage caused to the yard.
Any commercial operation is NOT allowed inside the yard. Operations include, truck or trailer sales etc.
All tractors MUST have a hubcap lock on the fuel tanks. Security will not be held responsible for any stolen fuel.
The truck owners are responsible for any spare tire and any accessories that can be stolen off the truck.
Loaded trailers that don’t have a seal will be given one until they leave the yard. We will NOT be held responsible for the preservation of the load inside a reefer trailer. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen cargo or truck or trailer.
The only ones allowed into the trailer are the tractor owners and drivers.
No tire changing is permitted in the yard. If this is inconvenient or have a problem please advise a security guard immediately.
No non-operating or crashed vehicle allowed into parking spots.
Please follow rules given to you in this contract.
Payments will be Monday – Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm (November & December may vary). A late fee of $50.00 per parking spot is added starting the 2ND of each month. By the 7TH of each month, the month must be payed with the late fee included if you wish to keep your parking space for the following month. If not we will still need payment but you will no longer be able to park the following month. Payments are accepted in cash or check or online. Checks made payable to US 27 Truck Parking Corp.
If either party decided to terminate the contract a 10-day notice must be given.
The yard is not responsible for tractors, trailers, or cars being repossessed by the authorized company.
The yard is not responsible for any lost or stolen equipment.
If any clause of the contract is violated at any time the yard has the rights to terminate the contract at any time.
Like our sign states we are not responsible for cars or personal property lost or stolen or for injury to person, cars or personal property on premises.
It is your responsibility to follow the rules of the yard and to inform your driver of this contract. If you do not inform your driver of this contract you will be held responsible for any rules being violation.
***On the 30th or 31st of the month if payment hasn't been renewed for monthly, nightly amount of $30.00 will start being applied for each truck and each night truck stays at yard. After a total of $1000 has been reached and there was been no payment or an agreement then a lien will be placed.Lien will include process fee as well in addition to payment due for parking.
